Shredder is a flak tank with a devastating fire power, which has been modified for ground combat. Its biggest advantage is its independence of energy. Its downside is its vast heat generation, which may limit its efficiency.
The Shredder is able to deal an enormous amount of damage in a short amount of time, but needs constant monitoring of its heat-level to ride the small gap between maintaining improved abilities and overheating. A well-timed Heat Management ability can help to sustain the high damage long enough for most fighting situations but at the cost of hull-points and losing the heated effects of its abilities.
Fires an EMP grenade at the target enemy unit, which deals 120/128/136/144 Ability damage and disables the target for 1.7s/1.8s/1.9s/2.0s.
HEATED: The EMP grenade releases boiling hot plasma on impact, which additionally melts the armor of the victim by 50/53/56/60 for 15.
Encloses itself with a deflecting field for 4.5s/5.0s/5.5s/6.0s, granting it a 45% chance for ricochet attacks.
HEATED: The deflector field creates a heat cloud around Shredder which lasts for 12s and deals 20/21/22/24 Ability damage each second to all enemies within 12m.
PASSIVE: Shredder's attacks and abilities create heat, which is automatically reduced by 2.50/2.67/2.83/3.00 each second. If the heat level stays between 50-99%, Shredder gets heated resulting in additional effects for its abilities. Once heat reaches 100%, Shredder gets inhibited and it's fire mode is set to single barrel.
ACTIVE: Discharges all piled up heat through an emergency hull breach. Shredder is dealt 10% of it's maximum hull points as Ability damage.
Switches the fire mode of Shredder's flak cannon between single, double and quad barrel. Depending on the selected fire mode, attacks deal increased damage at the expense of increased heat development.
The default fire mode deals 125% damage and generates 9.8/9.5/9.2/8.9 heat.
